Supplemental VA Courses
Students can take up to one supplemental class through the ISD 191 Virtual Academy High School each semester of high school.
To see courses that are available, students should visit the course catalog website and make sure the tag for "One91 Virtual Academy" is activated.
Steps to Sign Up for a VA Course:
1) Visit the 191 Enrollment Center website, and scroll down to the VARIANCE REQUEST (under Enrollment Center Resources). You can find the form in your preferred language. The form is a fillable PDF that can be completed and downloaded or it can be printed and filled out.
2) When completing the form, students should enter BHS as their "School Currently Attending" and 191 HS VA as the "School Requested."
3) There is a box to select the reason for completing the form and the box for "High School Supplemental Course" should be checked.
4) Upon completion, (as described on the form), there are three ways to submit the variance form.
5) Once the variance form is done, a message can be sent to the student's regular BHS counselor who will finish the schedule change.
