Attention 10/11th graders:   We want you as a  Link Leader!

Link Leaders are upperclassmen who serve as role models/mentors for the 9th grade students.  What exactly does a Link Leader do? Link Leaders are trained to work with the incoming freshman class.   After training, the Link Leaders will run freshman orientation on the first day of school next year.   At the orientation, each Link Leader (and a partner) will be given a small group of freshmen to work with, to befriend, and  to help with any challenges they may face. Periodically during the school year, Link Leaders will continue to touch base with their 9th graders throughout the year. discuss problems.  We know that the more contact a freshman has with his/her Link Leader the more successful the freshman will be.  We promise that this will be a fun experience (plus it looks great on job/college applications)!!!

If you have any questions, check your class group on Schoology for more information and the application.  There is an optional Google Meet on Wednesday 4/7 at noon.  (code: LINKCREW).  You can also email Ms. Harrod (kharrod@isd191.org) or stop by D232 if you are in school.
