BHS Students are selected to be Voyageurs Conservancy Teen Ambassadors!

BHS is sending two 9th grade Earth Science students, Max Nordlund and Ilaissa Santana, to the Voyageurs Conservancy Teen Ambassadors this summer's program.

Ms. Weightman teaches Earth Science and nominated Max and IIaissa. She said,  "This news came at the best time! We are in our Natural Resources unit, in which we study the history, purpose and resources of our National Parks and National Wildlife Refuges. We highlight Voyageurs National Park in this unit since it is the only National Park inMinnesota. Due to receiving the email, I encouraged students to apply, and offered support with applications and to be their "sponsor." Both of the students that applied have been accepted into this summer's program and I couldn't be more proud and excited for them."
