Burnsville Blaze Host South Suburban Conference (SSC) 10-Team Track & Field Meet; May 24, 2023
The Burnsville Blaze is hosting another day of the 2023 South Suburban Conference (SSC) 10-Team Track & Field Meet on Wednesday, May 24. Here are some important announcements for the BHS Students and Fans:
1. Buses and fans will be filling our parking lot and frontage roads starting at 1:45 PM. The event start time will be at approximately 2:50 PM (both dates). Fan gates will open at 2:35 PM
2. Parking Behind Pates Stadium: After school the staff parking lot between Pates Stadium and BHS building will be blocked off with cones. Please do not park there.
3. Pates Stadium & BHS Outdoor Fields NOT Available
4. Event Fee: Unfortunately, the ISD 191 Student ID or ISD 191 Staff Badge will NOT be accepted at this SSC Track & Field event. All adults, senior citizens, and students will need to pay the online Vanco ticket fee. A SSC Pass is acceptable.

Adult Fee = $10.00

Calling all BHS cheerleaders!
Registration is now open for the 2023/24 season - https://isd191.cr3.
Practices start May 24 and team placement tryouts will be held Aug 23
No experience necessary & everyone will make a team!
A Parent/athlete meeting will be held Sept 7 for those who make Varsity & additional registration will be required for the competition season.

Garden Club:
Students can join the Giving Garden Club Thursday after school. Meet in the garden near door 8 between F and G Wings. No experience necessary and a great way to be outside and get some volunteering hours!
During the summer, we will meet on Thursdays from 9:00am-11:00am.
Congrats to BHS eSports Minecraft, Smite, and Rocket League Teams for great performances at State!
Congrats to the BHS eSports Minecrat, Smite, and Varsity Rocket League teams who each participated in corresponding State LAN tournaments this past weekend.
Our Minecraft Bedwars (4v4) team ended up getting Top 8!
Our Smite team ended up bringing home a 3rd place trophy!
And Rocket League (3v3) team ended up bringing home a 2nd place trophy!
Congrats again to the teams for their great performances over the weekend:
