Seniors - Apply NOW for the Community Scholarships!
Foundation 191 is proud to sponsor the Burnsville High School Community Scholarship Award Program. Each year, community organizations provide graduating seniors who are pursuing a post-secondary education with the opportunity to receive scholarships. Together with area businesses, family memorials, clubs and foundations,
BHS provides over $125,00 annually in scholarship monies.
All 2023 graduating seniors at Burnsville High School are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to students attending 4-year colleges/universities, 2-year community colleges, and technical colleges/institutes. The application opens Wednesday, February 1, 2023 and closes Wednesday, March 1, 2023. No late applications will be accepted. The application is completed and submitted online and can be accessed using this link on here.
All students interested in being considered for Burnsville High School Community Scholarships must complete and submit the online application by March 1, 2023 to be eligible. If a donor requires a donor specific application, both that application and the online Burnsville High School Scholarship application must be completed.
The following scholarship donors require completion of an additional donor-specific application to be considered for the scholarships they are awarding. Those donor specific applications can be found online using this link. https://www.foundation191.org. Paper copies of those applications are also available in the guidance office unless otherwise noted. Donors who
require additional applications are:
Burnsville Athletic Club (BAC)

Savage American Legion
Walser “Driving Stronger Community” Scholarship
The dollar amount of each scholarship is determined by the donor. Scholarship amounts range from $500-$2500. Last year over 100 scholarships were awarded through the Burnsville Community Scholarship Program.
