Students EMTs Compete at State!

BHS Hosa club competed at the State Leadership Conference in St. Cloud, MN for the first time in three years. BHS seniors that competed were Leo Moreno Palomo, Allysa Woods and Davin Alt. They competed in Emergency Medical Technician and First-Aid/CPR competitions in possible scenarios that can happen to a variety of people. These competitions were up against other schools across the state. Senior Minhnhat Le also completed but in the Virtual State Competition in Dental Terminology.

Hosa is an international club for future medical professionals for health school students. BHS has had their club for 6 years and will be recruiting new members in the fall of 2022. Please contact Ms. Demsey, Ms. Morrissey, Ms. Weightman or Mrs. Stachowski
