Students in grades 9-12 required to register to receive bus transportation

Students in grades 9-12 required to register to receive bus transportation

All District 191 students in grades 9-12 will be required to opt-in (register) to receive bus transportation to and from school. This helps the school district create more efficient bus routes, ensuring students get to school as quickly as possible.

Families who want their high school student(s) to receive transportation in the fall must complete an online form at www.isd191.org/transportation or contact the District 191 transportation department at 952-707-2069. If the district does not receive an opt-in registration form, no bus transportation will be scheduled for the student. If your student will need bus transportation for the 2025-26 school year, click on the Opt-In Form and complete the form for each student in grades 9-12 who needs transportation:

Opt-In for Transportation

If an Opt-In form is not completed, families will be expected to either:

  • Provide alternate transportation for their students (parent drop-off or ride sharing) OR
  • Purchase a BHS Parking Permit for the student to drive themselves to school.

All registrations for bus transportation must be done by Aug. 1, 2025 in order to be eligible for transportation for the 2025-26 school year.

Please note that mandatory registration for transportation is for grades 9-12 only. Families of PreK-Grade 8 students as well as all families with students receiving specialized transportation do not need to register for transportation.
